Tools can assist the newsroom. People remain responsible for what we publish.
AI assistance
AI may help with research organisation, drafting or editing. Claims and sources require review, and a human editor approves publication. Articles disclose substantive AI assistance. Invented quotations, reporting or credentials are not acceptable.
Images
We use first-party, permissioned or appropriately licensed photographs where possible. Contextual and archive images are identified. Illustrations are labelled and must not be mistaken for documentary evidence. Responsive images may be resized, compressed or cropped in story cards.
