  • Five recognised co-founders

  • Published subscription reports exceed three times

Zetwerk’s manufacturing platform was built by Amrit Acharya, Srinath Ramakkrushnan, Vishal Chaudhary and Rahul Sharma. Ankit Fatehpuria was subsequently recognised as a fifth co-founder; investor Lightspeed lists all five. Rather than relying only on factories it owns, the Bengaluru-based company coordinates production through external suppliers and its own facilities. Its prospectus describes Zetwerk OS as the technology connecting this network.

The business now includes manufacturing across energy products, precision products and capital goods, alongside a commodities-focused ecosystem business called Terra91. The model gives customers a route to production capacity beyond a single supplier. It also leaves Zetwerk responsible for coordinating a network whose quality and delivery performance can vary.

The offer document names Amrit Pratik Acharya and Srinath Ramakkrushnan as promoters and flags dependence on third-party suppliers, customer industries and order continuity among its risks. These qualifications are important to the startup’s public-market story: a large supplier network is useful only if it translates into dependable execution, controlled working capital and durable customer relationships.

Zetwerk’s IPO, which closed for bidding on 19 October, attracted demand of more than three times the shares offered, according to published broker subscription data. Zerodha reports 3.06 times at 5 pm; another broker’s later snapshot reports 3.10 times. The figures should not be mixed into a single category table. Zerodha lists 23 October as the tentative listing date, not a completed listing.

The offer includes a fresh issue of up to ₹2,830 crore and an offer for sale by existing shareholders. The company’s filing earmarks ₹1,300 crore for its own borrowings and ₹860 crore for borrowings at specified subsidiaries, with other proceeds intended for acquisitions and general corporate purposes. Money raised through the shareholder sale does not fund Zetwerk’s operations. Oversubscription measures bidding demand, not a guarantee of investment returns or future profitability.
